rimmel sexy curves waterproof mascara

Don't get me wrong, I still love the Revlon DoubleTwist Mascara. Rimmel Sexy Curves Waterproof Mascara gives a different effect on your lashes.

I love the bristles on the brush. The green portion of it is flexible and you can bend it to make it curved. The mascara is a bit wet compared to the Revlon one. Effect wise - gives your lashes the natural curl and extension, but need for several layers before achieving desired effect. Volumising properties pale in comparison to the Revlon one. Nonethelss, the bristles make it possible to touch on those difficult-to-reach parts of your lashes. This mascara would be great for the casual, natural look.

skinfood aloe sun bb cream

Ok, I haven't been updating for the longest time ever. I know in my previous post I'm supposed to do an entry on my Korea trip, but obviously I'm too lazy to do so.

It's the time of the year, nearing Hari Raya, when I begin to experiment on new cosmetics. Bought an eyeshadow palatte among other things. So now I'm inspired to do a review on the cosmetics that I've been using lately.

Got this while I was holidaying in Korea. Retails for 9,900 KRW, which is around $10-12 SGD. If you buy it here in Singapore, it will cost you freaking $38! So alternatively, you can go to JB to get your stock. It's about $10 SGD cheaper, if I'm not wrong.

I know that previously I raved about the beauty credit green tea bb cream, but this is way better, really!

Compared to the beauty credit green tea bb cream, this one has way better coverage and lasts longer. It also covers up your pores. It's great for my oily skin. I just have to dab on my t-zone and my skin stays matte. No need for touch-ups. This bb cream also has a nice scent to it. It comes in 2 tones - #1 or #2. I use #1 and it somehow matches my skin tone.

So far this one tube has lasted me since mid May this year. And I use it every day for work. So, it lasts quite long :) Plus, there is SPF 20.

SkinFood also has other bb cream ranges - Agave Cactus, Mushroom, Gingko Green, Peach Sake. The Aloe Sun one has better reviews in terms of coverage and oil control. Some reviews say that the Peach Sake is the best, but it's more expensive than the Aloe Sun one.

anhyeong-haseyo

I came back from Korea on Monday (17 May) at midnight. The holiday was a blast and a very good break indeed! It's always great to go overseas during your annual leave, cos that means the hospital can't contact you hahahaha!

Basically my sister and my friend travelled to Korea for 9 days (inclusive of flight travel time). We saw mainly Seoul and Jeju.

Seoul is a typical cosmopolitan city, rich in history. What caught us by surprise were the slopes and the uneven ground. (Doreen, I can fight with you about slopes and such!).

Jeju-do is like a fantasy land for Geography lovers, especially those interested in volcanic formations, rocks and coastal formations. Ehem, speaking for my personal point of view. I really love taking photos and every time I was in awe of the scenery there.

Food-wise, I thought it was so-so. Mainly because we had restrictions so we stuck of vegetarian dishes, i.e. eating bibimbap. After 2 meals of bibimbap I was sick of it. Now I'm craving for barbecued meat instead!

Ok, more detailed posts coming up. Check out my fb for more photos...will take some time doing up the posts cos I'm back to work tomorrow! :((

Oh ya, and I'm immersing myself in K-pop now. Probably in denial that my holiday has ended...

touched

My patient passed away today.

Although he may not have been a good father to his children while they were growing up, his children still visit him almost every day at the hospital. They were there when he was critically ill, and gave words of reassurance to him although he was not alert.

I'm sure ah pek was grateful for the love and concern by his children in spite of everything else.

MT weighting could be cut

Right.
This is totally rubbish. Does this mean that mother tongue is no longer important? Currently, it's sad to see younger people who can't speak their mother tongue properly, even if you have to deal with people in your work. I happen to think that dialect is also important in this ageing population.
