beauty products wanted

read this month's issue of cleo magazine. i bought it at the right time cos it featured the cleo's beauty hall of fame!

so, beauty products i wanna get my hands on:

1) garnier light overnight peeling cream
2) loreal double extension mascara (shiseido maquillage one was great (!), but will try this for cheaper alternative)
3) revlon smoothing pimer / stage opening act complexion enhancer
4) nivea eye makeup remover
5) la roche-posay effaclar m sebo regulating moisturiser
6) liese hair cocktail moisturising serum
7) fancl pore essence

i realise most of it are facial products. a teeny bit worried about slathering too many things on my face. but i hate oily face with blackheads and enlarged pores that makes my makeup fade away.

let's speak german

i had the tendency to speak to a patient in german. but i stopped. cos the patient didn't look too...erm...welcoming? yup.

anyway, mein Deutsch ist sehr sehr kaputt. wirklich kaputt. wirklich schlecht!

i'm too lazy to revise it or whatever. and people don't wanna speak to me auf Deutch cos they are sick of it after taking like drei modules of Deutsch. well, i can still verstehe Deutsch songs but to speak it is a struggle!

reminiscing the times in germany when my conversational Deutsch improved cos i was used to speaking and listening to it every day. ich vermisse Muenster!!! wondering whether my Mutter received my Weihnachten package. maybe i should send one earlier this year. should have sent some Easter thingy, but forgot lah.

new eatery

was at simpang bedok this afternoon, looking for food to eat. and of course to check out a new eatery which my sister found reviews of online.

BADOQUE - only 2 doors away from mad jack's!
very hip and cool environment.

wasn't in the mood for lunch, so ordered desserts.

i scream extremes

basically it's consists of 3 ice-cream flavours of you choice, sauce of your choice and 3 cakes of your choice! very nice...but can get a little muak after a while. anyway, the guy told us that they are revamping the menu...which is why some of the flavours i ordered are not available. anyway their nights are usually very full so need to reserve a place if you're keen to dine there for dinner.

the pricing of the main course items don't look that bad after all. but not sure of their serving size. but their pastas sound goooooot!



well, would probably come again to try out their other dishes :)

i am tempted to go bangkok

met suzanne on the way home.

i'm tempted to go bangkok and join suzanne, yin yee and siti on their grad trip! cos shopping in bangkok is like heaven!

apparently they calculated and estimated costs would be about $800sgd including shopping. unless you spend more, that is...they plan to fly in june. im so so so tempted la!

hmmm...i can save like $1000 in the next 2 months la. but my concern is, should i just spend the money that i have saved, or should i continue accumulating the savings then spend it? most of my savings are being locked-in. haha...sigh...let me check whether i can actually take leave on that period...
